Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Lenawee Christian

It was a proper cat-fight when Lenawee Christian took on Whiteford on Tuesday. The Lenawee Christian Cougars took down the Whiteford Bobcats 62-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Lenawee Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxon Salenbien, who went 7 of 13 en route to 22 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The game was Salenbien's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Seth Davis was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Lenawee Christian pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Whiteford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Lenawee Christian has already played their next matchup, a 73-70 defeat against Summerfield on the 17th. As for Whiteford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-25 win against Sand Creek on the 17th.
