Basketball Recap: Nathan Hale Comes Up Short

Nathan Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 74-28 defeat at the hands of the Verdigris Cardinals. The matchup marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nathan Hale's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Verdigris, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nathan Hale and Okmulgee will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Verdigris will take on Oologah in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
