Baseball Recap: Sonora Comes Up Short

Sonora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-2 to the Ceres Bulldogs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.

Sonora saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Snyder, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Sonora's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ceres, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Sonora has already played their next match, a 10-3 defeat against Pacheco on the 21st. As for Ceres, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Orestimba on the 18th.
