Stevenson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Waukegan Bulldogs. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Stevenson's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Waukegan are ranked 212th).

Stevenson's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Waukegan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3-1.

Coming up, Stevenson will face off against Grayslake Central at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Waukegan, they are taking a road trip to challenge Glenbrook South at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
