Baseball Recap: Dover-Sherborn Drops Highest Score of Season Against Sharon

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dover-Sherborn). They never let the Sharon Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Will Forman was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Matt Bowen, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Dover-Sherborn and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Sharon, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover-Sherborn will take on Ashland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sharon, they will face off against Oliver Ames at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
