Basketball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Las Vegas Wildcats

After flying high against Amplus Academy last Wednesday, Valley came back down to earth. The Valley Vikings lost to the Las Vegas Wildcats on the road by a 55-40 margin on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-31 back in December of 2024.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anayiah Montgomery, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Quinn Steidler, who earned 11 points.

Las Vegas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan DuBois, who put up 17 points and five steals.
