Soccer Game Preview: Glendale vs. Neosho

The Glendale Falcons will head out to face off against the Neosho Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Glendale is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Glendale is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Joplin 8-0 on Tuesday. Glendale's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Meanwhile, Neosho beat Central 5-3 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neosho.

Glendale's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Neosho, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Glendale took their victory against Neosho in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
