McKinney North came tearing into  Tuesday's  match with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Melissa Cardinals with a sharp  3-0 victory. The Bulldogs were shut out  3-0 the last time they took on the Cardinals, so the Bulldogs were just returning the favor.
 McKinney North not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Melissa between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14,  25-16.
 Chloe Lewis paced McKinney North's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lewis got some help from  Malia McNeal and her 22 assists. Finally,  Kaitlyn Jefferson and  Nicole Jacobson kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked five attacks.
McKinney North's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Melissa, their loss  ended  a  four-match streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-14.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McKinney North is set to  take on  their familiar foe Greenville  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Melissa will  challenge  rival Walnut Grove  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
