Softball Recap: Archer Tigers vs. Rockdale County Bulldogs
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archer). They blew past the Rockdale County Bulldogs 23-1. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than 11 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Archer pushed their record up to 5-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rockdale County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Archer will be playing in front of their home fans against South Forsyth at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Archer knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten run or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully South Forsyth likes a good challenge. As for Rockdale County, they will head out on the road to face off against Newton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
