Baseball Recap: Canyon View's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Canyon View saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Churchill Lancers by a score of 3-2.

Cason Hagerman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Canyon View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Meyer, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Canyon View's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Churchill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Canyon View will be playing in front of their home fans against Thurston at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Churchill, they will take on West Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
