Lincoln East is 8-2 against Grand Island since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lincoln East Spartans will challenge the Grand Island Islanders at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Lincoln East's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.

Last Saturday, Lincoln East strolled past Fremont with points to spare, taking the game 74-59.

Meanwhile, Grand Island ended up a good deal behind Kearney on Thursday and lost 55-39. The Islanders haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Grand Island's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Lincoln East, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Lincoln East couldn't quite finish off Grand Island in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 57-55. Can Lincoln East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
