Scituate suffers eighth straight loss on the road

Recap: Scituate Spartans vs. West Warwick Wizards

This season hasn't been kind to the Scituate Spartans, who are still winless after their eighth match. They suffered a tough 75-52 loss at the hands of West Warwick on Monday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Scituate in their matchups with West Warwick: they've now lost nine in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Scituate lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andy Vigeant. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Antonio DeJesus was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Scituate bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Warwick, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
