Basketball Recap: Mount Si Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mount Si, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 victory over the Inglemoor Vikings on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-39 back in December of 2024.

Mount Si's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Inglemoor, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Si has already played their next contest (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Inglemoor will challenge Bellevue at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bellevue knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Inglemoor likes a good challenge.
