Basketball Recap: Bishop Kenny's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

The third road matchup was the charm for Bishop Kenny, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Eagle's View Warriors by a score of 61-53 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was JUSTIS CLEMENTS, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. CLEMENTS has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. JAYCEN LOWERY was another key player, putting up 13 points and six assists.

The win got Bishop Kenny back to even at 5-5. As for Eagle's View, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.

Bishop Kenny wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-54 victory against Orange Park on the 13th. As for Eagle's View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-46 win against First Coast Christian on the 13th.
