Plymouth and Wawasee pushed the score to 18-5 the last time they played Wawasee, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Pilgrims/Rockies had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-5 back in April.

Plymouth's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10. As for Wawasee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
