Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Maxton Boddy stepped things up a notch to give Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond the 'W'. Boddy scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Boddy and Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will look to defend their home field on Monday against Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m. The Raiders will enter the matchup having just beaten Beecher, so the Knights will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
