Basketball Recap: Plateau Valley Picks Up 11th Straight Win on the Road

Plateau Valley had won ten straight road games dating back to last season and Jack Vig did his part to make it 11 on Saturday. The Plateau Valley Cowboys walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers thanks in part to Vig, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. What's more, he also racked up five blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

Plateau Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Vail Mountain, they moved to 8-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Plateau Valley has already played their next game, a 69-23 victory against Rangely on the 31st. As for Vail Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-57 defeat against Middle Park on the 28th.
