Basketball Recap: Beacon Piles Up the Points Against Laguardia

Beacon won the last time they faced Laguardia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Beacon Blue Demons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Laguardia 73-46. The Blue Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Beacon and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Laguardia, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Beacon will venture away from home to square off against East Harlem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Harlem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Beacon likes a good challenge. Laguardia has already played their next contest (against Hunter College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
