Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Princeton's Winning Streak

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Princeton's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monticello Magic on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Princeton moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Monticello, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Princeton will square off against Chisago Lakes Area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monticello, they will challenge Big Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Magic's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
