Football Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe fell victim to North Hollywood and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Huskies. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Hollywood to victory, but perhaps none more so than LOGAN GRANT, who rushed for 40 yards and one TD, and also threw for 132 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes. Another back making a difference was GAVEN ZAMORA, who rushed for 103 yards and one score on only six carries.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Hollywood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Monroe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 62-24 victory against Fulton on the 26th. As for North Hollywood, they have also already played their next contest, a 38-16 win against Verdugo Hills on the 26th.
