The Central Crossing Comets will head out to square off against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Central Crossing will be strutting in after a win while St. Francis DeSales will be coming in after a defeat.

Central Crossing took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Jonathan Alder, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Comets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Pioneers on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Hayliee Roberts made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 15 batters over nine innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Roberts was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.
