Basketball Game Preview: Edison Tigers vs. Sanger Apaches

The Edison Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Sanger Apaches at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edison is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Monday, Edison came up short against Justin Garza and fell 73-65. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 949th, while the Guardians are ranked 318th).

Meanwhile, Sanger was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 56-50 to Fresno.

Sanger's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-24.

Edison might still be hurting after the 69-49 defeat they got from Sanger in their previous meeting last Friday. Can Edison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
