Basketball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a hard 44-28 fall against the Skyline Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-36 back in November of 2024.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Skyline, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-13.

Columbia will challenge Lee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia is facing Lee at the right time seeing as Lee is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Skyline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Head at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Valley Head will have lost nine straight heading into Thursday's game.
