Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Titans vs. Chadwick Dolphins

The Notre Dame Titans and the Chadwick Dolphins will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

If Notre Dame beats Chadwick with 65 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Notre Dame snuck past Valley View with a 65-61 win on Thursday. With that victory, the Titans brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.

Caiden Broughton and Jaxon Coduti were among the main playmakers for Notre Dame as the former dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards and the latter dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. The contest was Broughton's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Aaron Lewis was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Notre Dame was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, Chadwick had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 57-44 win over the Titans.

Chadwick has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Notre Dame, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
