Basketball Recap: Kemp Takes a Loss

Kemp was the 50-36 winner over Canton when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Kemp Yellowjackets took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canton Eagles on Tuesday.

Kemp has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Canton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Kemp will square off against Mabank at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mabank's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Canton, they will welcome Athens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
