Galvin Came Up Big in North Posey's 45-14 Victory

Starting off the list is North Posey's Jed Galvin, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Galvin rushed for 199 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Pike Central had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Galvin it was a similar story. Galvin rushed for 187 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries the last time he and the Chargers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Southridge Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Justin Leathers

Justin Leathers's big game helped extend Southridge's winning streak to four on Friday. Leathers turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 177 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Southridge pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Leathers and Southridge will take on Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rolan Whitehead Makes It Two for Southridge

Another Southridge player making an appearance on this list is Rolan Whitehead. He rushed for 11 yards and three touchdowns.

This season, Whitehead has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 30.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.

Pike Central had to settle for second on Friday, but Grant Boyd sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Boyd was still balling out as he rushed for 51 yards.
