Volleyball Recap: Aliso Niguel Comes Up Short

Aliso Niguel lost against San Clemente back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aliso Niguel Wolverines lost 3-0 to the San Clemente Tritons. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aliso Niguel was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-20.

Aliso Niguel's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for San Clemente, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Aliso Niguel will square off against Laguna Beach at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for San Clemente, they will take on Newport Harbor at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
