Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Oak Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Germantown Mavericks on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Mavericks on September 6th, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

While Oak Grove won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Oak Grove's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-14. As for Germantown, they moved to 16-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Oak Grove and Germantown will both be playing D'Iberville the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
