Baseball Game Preview: DeKalb County Tigers vs. Sequatchie County Indians

The DeKalb County Tigers will head out to face off against the Sequatchie County Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. DeKalb County is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Macon County hit DeKalb County with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. DeKalb County lost 10-0 to Macon County. Considering the last time DeKalb County couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Sequatchie County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hixson.

Sequatchie County's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for DeKalb County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

DeKalb County skirted past Sequatchie County 4-3 in their previous meeting back in May of 2021. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
