MaxPreps and the Polynesian Bowl will be selecting a player of the week every Monday.

Every Monday we will select a MaxPreps Polynesian Bowl All-Star Player of the Week and at the end of the season we will nominate five players for the MaxPreps Polynesian Bowl All-Star Player of the Year Award.
It only includes players selected for the 2019 and the 2020 Polynesian Bowl All-Star game.
The Polynesian Bowl is one of the fastest growing events in high school sports and it features over 100 of the country's best players.
Some notable names for the 2019 and 2020 All-Star game include
Bru McCoy of
Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), the No. 1 athlete in the country, the top-rated offensive guard
Kardell Thomas, of
Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, La.).
Thompson's Taulia Tagovailoa, a 2019 Alabama commit and the younger brother of
Tua Tagovailoa,
Orange Lutheran's Kyle Ford, the top rated wide receiver on the West Coast,
St. John Bosco's DJ Uiagalelei, the top rated quarterback from Class of 2020, and
St. Louis' Faatui Tuitele, the top rated player from Hawaii in 2019.
