Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Rickover Naval Seadragons + Official Tickets

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will challenge the Rickover Naval Seadragons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Roosevelt came up short against North Chicago on Friday, falling 73-53.

Despite the defeat, Roosevelt got top-tier performance from Melvin Steward, who shot 65% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Steward's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kemon Hall, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Rickover Naval had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 78-21 loss at the hands of Woodlawn.

Roosevelt now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rickover Naval, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Roosevelt took their win against Rickover Naval when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 52-32 score. Will the Rough Riders repeat their success, or do the Seadragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
