Lockwood piles up the points against Golden City

The Lockwood Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 67-32 victory over Golden City on the road. The result was nothing new for Lockwood, who have now won six contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Spencer Parrill and Ethan Pettengill certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Parrill scored 17 points, while Pettengill scored nine points. The game was Parrill's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Robby Stafford was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.

Lockwood is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Golden City, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lockwood will take on Liberal at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Liberal and Lockwood are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Golden City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
