The St. John Paul II Panthers came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 62-54 victory over Trinity Catholic on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for St. John Paul II, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

St. John Paul II's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mario Forbes, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
