Basketball Game Preview: Mile High Academy Mustangs vs. Denver Jewish Day Tigers

The Mile High Academy Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Denver Jewish Day Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mile High Academy is looking for their season's first win.

Mile High Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against St. John Paul the Great on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mountaineers by a score of 46-43. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Rogan Annis, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brody Koloay, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Denver Jewish Day was able to grind out a solid victory over Front Range Christian on Wednesday, taking the game 54-45.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Mile High Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Mile High Academy was dealt a bruising 64-22 loss at the hands of Denver Jewish Day when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Mile High Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
