Patrick Henry had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hoover Cardinals on Friday, sneaking past 51-49. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-45 back in January.

Patrick Henry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaac Weatherred led the charge by going 7 of 13 en route to 17 points. That's the most points Weatherred has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alexander Newlands, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 19 boards.
