Northwest Whitfield had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Armuchee Indians.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwest Whitfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Manis, who had 11 digs. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Ledford, who had five digs and two aces.

Northwest Whitfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Armuchee's loss came despite strong showings from Charley Ray and Addison Blanton. Ray had 14 digs and two aces, while Blanton had eight digs.

Northwest Whitfield's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Armuchee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 12-4 record.

Northwest Whitfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against LaFayette on the 26th. As for Armuchee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rockmart on the 26th.
