It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Upper Arlington can now relate to. They and the Pickerington Central Tigers were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but they suffered a 17-16 defeat. The Golden Bears' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Rocco Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pickerington Central, rushing for 101 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Those 101 rushing yards gave Williams a new career-high.

Upper Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Pickerington Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
