Baseball Recap: Mission Hills Grizzlies vs. Sage Creek Bobcats

Mission Hills extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 8-11 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sage Creek Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on Tuesday.

Brody Agonia was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits.

At the plate, Aiden Vogel was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Rangel, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mission Hills beat Sage Creek by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.
