Basketball Recap: West Prairie Comes Up Short

West Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans and fell 66-39. The Cyclones were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-14.

West Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge], they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Prairie will face off against Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge], they will head out to square off against Biggsville West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
