Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Arwin Tati and Sahbaj Singh Lead Washington to Victory

Washington had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 73-59 victory over the KIPP SF College Prep Phoenix on Monday.

Washington was led to victory by Sahbaj Singh and Arwin Tati. Singh went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points and five rebounds, while Tati posted 11 points along with five assists and five boards. What's more, Tati also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was James Kennedy, who put up eight points and seven steals.

Looking ahead, Washington will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Menlo School at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for KIPP SF College Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Galileo at 5:30 p.m. on December 9.
