Volleyball Recap: Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Victorious

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning won the last time they faced Futures and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fire Wolves came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fire Wolves.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 26-28, 25-21.

Deacon Strutton paced Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning's offense, picking up 17 kills. Strutton got some help from Christian McKnight and his 31 assists. Toby Richard controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Futures, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning will take on Foresthill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fire Wolves are facing the Wildfires at the right time seeing as the Wildfires are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Futures, they will square off against Encina at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
