Basketball Game Preview: Raymond Rams vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Saints

Raymond hasn't had much luck against St. Thomas Aquinas recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Raymond Rams will head out to take on the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints at 6:30 p.m.

Raymond is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Kearsarge, who was ranked second at the time (Raymond was ranked sixth). Raymond took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kearsarge on Friday.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas was able to grind out a solid victory over Newfound Regional on Friday, taking the game 58-45.

Raymond's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Raymond might still be hurting after the 76-56 loss they got from St. Thomas Aquinas when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Raymond avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
