Basketball Recap: Hilbert Comes Up Short

Hilbert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 45-33 to the North Fond du Lac Orioles.

Hilbert's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for North Fond du Lac, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hilbert will take on Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sheboygan Area Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Hilbert likes a good challenge. As for North Fond du Lac, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Omro at 7:00 p.m.
