Beloit Memorial and Janesville Parker are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Purple Knights will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Beloit Memorial has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Beloit Memorial came up short against Union Grove on Tuesday, falling 16-3. The Purple Knights have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Jasmine Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Janesville Parker came out on top against Vel Phillips Memorial on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Vikings skirted past the Spartans 8-6.

Lilly Keller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. Keller was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Kenedi Pryne was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney King, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Janesville Parker's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Beloit Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Beloit Memorial came out on top in a nail-biter against Janesville Parker when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Purple Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
