Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Christian Takes a Loss

Arrowhead Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Western Christian Fighting Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Arrowhead Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Robert Castillo, who had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in February.

Arrowhead Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Western Christian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Arrowhead Christian will head out on the road to square off against Loma Linda Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Christian, they will host Southlands Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
