Football Recap: Bristol Central Rams vs. North Haven Nighthawks
Bristol Central extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the North Haven Nighthawks, falling 40-12. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut football rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Nighthawks are ranked 17th).
Although Bristol Central took the loss, they still got scores from Quincy Lawson and Jayden Glasper.

Artie McCormack IV had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 187 yards and three scores while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristol Central will welcome Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Haven, they will be playing at home against Cheshire at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
