Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Raymore-Peculiar's Winning Streak

Raymore-Peculiar came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lee's Summit West Titans, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since October 29, 2024.

While Raymore-Peculiar was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Addie Findlay paced Raymore-Peculiar's offense, picking up ten kills. Findlay got some help from Bryleigh Martin and her 16 assists. Martin was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Andi Gardner was a one-woman wrecking crew For Lee's Summit West. as she had 21 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Gardner has posted over her last seven matches.
