Basketball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Sierra Linda Bulldogs

The Copper Canyon Aztecs will venture away from home to challenge the Sierra Linda Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Canyon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Copper Canyon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 68-27 victory over Tonopah Valley. While the Aztecs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sierra Linda, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past San Luis 64-35 on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Sierra Linda's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Copper Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything went Copper Canyon's way against Sierra Linda when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Copper Canyon made off with a 57-33 victory. Will Copper Canyon repeat their success, or does Sierra Linda have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
