Softball Recap: Cabrini Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Cabrini's offense. They came up short against the Belle Chasse Cardinals on Friday, falling 15-0. The Crescents' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Cabrini saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Richoux, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Cabrini's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Belle Chasse, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Cabrini has already played their next match, a 16-1 loss against Mandeville on the 7th. As for Belle Chasse, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Belle Chasse Cardinals challenge Ursuline Academy Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
