Baseball Recap: Neville Takes a Loss

Neville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Monroe Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-3 last Wednesday.

Neville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for West Monroe, they pushed their record up to 19-6-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Looking ahead, Neville will face off against West Ouachita at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chiefs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Monroe, they will square off against Caldwell Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
